I left Alyson's feeling refreshed and excited about the possibilities of make up application. I was determined to study more, experiment more and of course, stick more things in my eyes. Realistically, both looks weren't the type of thing you could wear every day. But hey, if someone out there would just throw a costume party or a glamorous ball I'll know exactly how to dress my face.

Aucoin, Aucoin, Aucoin
Alyson is a devotee of the late Kevyn Aucoin, a hugely successful make up artist whose books are filled with beautiful photos and of course plenty of make up tips. He excelled at making people up to look like celebrities; often his models were famous themselves and some of the results are truly jaw-dropping. He passed away in 2002 at age 40, but not before launching a line of custom products that bears his name.
