Mike Muyres' virtuoso performance was getting plenty of media play Monday. Rumor has it his line may get the start Sunday, in the final game of the regular season. Coach Moe, a.k.a Kid Rock, would only say: "Get that camera out of my face!"

The Woodman continues to impress after a shaky start. Trade talks have been discontinued.

Natasha
The rook shows no respect for veterans - and we like it. Her retort to Marty ("How long have you been a suck-up?") will go down in Moe's Tavern annals as Best First Line By A New Player. Later, Marty played "Cowboy Song" at Beaumont's. The key lyric here is: "I am just a cowboy." The melody is suspiciously like "Hurts So Good." Or vice versa.

Coming up
Game time Sunday is 3:30 p.m. Playoffs begin the following week. I would suggest a team banquet at Mister Steer, but Beaumont's is so much more convenient. Still, Mister Steer has a killer salad bar. And steer stuff on the wall.
