Greatest Hockey Moment: Going to Minnesota North Stars games in high school, and thinking that I was a big shot because my friend (aka Dusty Rhodes) worked for the Stars and could get us free tickets. Steve had the important job of reporting the period scores on the AP wire. Steve was dying to be creative, but when the content of your story consists of 'Minnesota 2, Boston 1, end on second period.' there was not much room for journalistic expression.
