Nicknames: Dizzy. Which I like to think came from people who observed my virtuosic play, and thought, that guy plays like Gillespie played his fabulous horn. But I don't think it came from that.
I am also called Ziv, the Zivster, DZ from time to time. And I have a baseball alter ego, Zippy, which I presume came from how I look in a funny hat.
